Chloe and Walter married on New Years Eve at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Colwich, Kansas. Near Wichita Kansas, this beautiful catholic church served great meaning to these two. Their faith is the most important pillar in their marriage. Every moment of their sentimental winter had been wedding planned with intentionality and meaning. Chloe and Walter are two of the most genuine and kind people we’ve had the privilege of photographing. Their heart for others and their marriage was so apparent. The artistic point of view and documentary feel that we gave their photos perfectly fit their sentimental winter wedding day. There were so many favorite moments from this day– from watching each of them light up while Chloe was walking down the aisle, to Chloe’s first look with her dad and brother, to getting to witness all of the people there supporting them.
At this point it was too cold to step outside for photos, so we decided to join Chloe and Walter for a few private moments after their ceremony. These moments became some of our favorite photos from the day. Their pure joy and realization of finally married was incredible, we absolutely loved getting to document all of their raw emotions. We got to step away from directing and just let the true emotions of their wedding day flow. Their reception was packed full of family and friends with unmatched energy to celebrate these two. From pouring a champagne tower, to dancing the night away, it was the end to their perfect sentimental winter wedding day.
